Micropigmentation last a long time, but not forever. As you become accustomed to your new make up, it’s not uncommon to want more. You will want to freshen up your new make up every couple of years. The darker the color, the longer it will stay unchanged in your skin. Natural, delicate colors are oftentimes more vulnerable to the effects of sun, swimming and breakdown by body’s natural response. Note: some procedures may last longer than other (ie. freckles and lips may fade faster than brows)

The initial procedure will generally take approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours, there are records to establish, photographs to take, desired design and color to discuss, the procedure to perform and the aftercare requirements to discuss. Follow up or color refresher procedures usually do not require the same amount of time.

A topical anesthesia is used as needed to help numb the areas to be treated. This helps to alleviate any minor discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Everyone has their own unique level of pain tolerance. Some people feel that certain areas of the face are more sensitive than others, so special emphasis is put on making the client as comfortable as possible. A variety of topical anesthetics are on hand to ensure that your procedure is as pain-free as possible.
