Hello, gorgeous! My name is Kodi, it’s so nice to meet you!

I am originally from Texas but I have been in the PNW for so long, I consider myself an Oregonian at this point! I started getting tattoos at 15 (sorry, mom) when my friend traded his dirt bike for a tattoo machine. Since I was young, I always knew I wanted to be COVERED in tattoos— but I didn’t know I would get the opportunity to one day be a tattoo artist (full circle moment:)). My hobbies range from embroidering to snowboarding and I have a very hard time sitting still. I collect Lego sets and only started watching Star Wars so I could build EVEN MORE Lego sets. LOL. I have 4 fur-babies and an axolotl, but no kids just yet! I graduated from PSU with a BS Biology in 2019, fully intending on working in the medical field. After 2020, I had lost all my desire to ho back to school- and as you can imagine, a BS Biology will only get you so far professionally. When it was time to start thinking about what career I wanted to pursue, I always knew that if I wasn’t passionate about my career that it would just never work. unfortunately, the things I am most passionate about don’t really make for great jobs… so I was back at square one. what am I going to do with my life?! HAHAH.

In, steps my partner. I am married to a wonderful partner who is incredible supportive in all my endeavors. One day while driving, he asked me why I didn’t try and find a job that combined my passion for the beauty industry and tattoos. This planted the seed in my mind and the idea festered in my brain so much that I began looking up courses that night. I just recently graduated from Nai Beauty Academy and Tattoo School with certifications in permanent makeup and tattooing! making the decision to go to not only a tattoo school, but also a school that offered cosmetic tattoos, was easily the best decision of my life. I am so excited to begin this next step and tattoo all of your beautiful faces and bodies!
